SCRIPTURAL ANSWERS
WHICH SHALL IT BE?
1. The Christianity of the New Testament taught by Jesus and His apostles, or the theology of creeds, taught by uninspired men? (1 Corinthians 3:11; Galatians 1:6-10)
2. The divine confession of faith upon which Christ built His church, or human confessions of which men have split the church? (Matthew 16:15-18)
3. The unity of Christ's followers for which He so earnestly prayed, or the divisions which the apostles condemned so strongly? (John 17:20, 21; Ephesians 4:4-6)
4. The common co-operation of Christians, in efforts for world-wide evangelization, or the petty jealousies and strifes in the struggles for denominational supremacy?
Upon which do you want to risk your soul?
THE POSITION OF THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST
We aim:
1. . . . to restore the doctrine and practice of the Apostolic church. (Acts 2:ff.)
2. . . . to repudiate human creeds, names, traditions, unscriptural offices, and to use only Bible names for Bible things, and to establish the New Testament order in all spiritual affairs.
3. . . . to bring about unity of believers, and use the divine plan of salvation as set forth in the New Testament, for the salvation of all men. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)
HOW SINNERS MAY BECOME CHRISTIANS
1. By hearing the truth, the Word of God. (Romans 10:17; John 17:17; and Matthew 28:19)
2. By believing the infallible Word. (Acts 16:30; John 3:18; and Hebrews 11:6)
3. By repenting of sin. (Acts 17:30; Luke 13:3, 5; and Luke 24:47)
4. By confessing Christ as the Son of the living God. (Matthew 10:32, 33; Acts 8:37; and Romans 10:10)
5. By being baptized (immersed) in water for the remission of sin. (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-6; Galatians 3:27; 1 Peter 3:21; and John 3:3-5)
OUR DUTY AS CHRISTIANS TO THE CHURCH

4. Pray for her spiritual prosperity. (Ephesians 3:14-19)
5. Work for her success. (John 9:4; Revelations 22:12)
6. Give for her support (1 Corinthians 16:2) as you have been prospered. cf. (Matthew 5:20)
7. Cordially greet her members. (1 Corinthians 16:20)
8. Invite others to her services. (John 1:41, 42)
9. ATTEND THE LORD's SUPPER EVERY LORD's DAY. (Acts 2:42; Acts 20:7;
1 Corinthians 11:23-29; and John 6:53)
DO YOU BELIEVE IT IS SCRIPTURAL TO PRACTICE DENOMINATIONALISM?
If so, please read: (John 17:20-23; Romans 17:17, 18; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13; and
Galatians 1:6-12)
